Getting started
What we do, who we work with and how to get started.
We look after business phones, IT, cloud and web hosting:
- business phone systems, with our Wave and Communicator plans
- unified communications and a cloud contact centre
- managed IT support and cloud computing
- business connectivity and web hosting
Take one service, or bring several together with one team to call.
Businesses of all sizes. Our plans are designed for start-ups and small to medium-sized businesses, and we know what running one is like, because we are one. We also support larger organisations, such as a barristers' chambers with 80 barristers and a social housing provider with 22 sites.
We work across many sectors, including legal, healthcare, education, financial services, retail and manufacturing. See the industries we serve.
No. Our platforms need little to no technical skill, and there are no bulky manuals. Our team helps you get set up and supports you along the way, so you can focus on running your business.
Get in touch and tell us about your business. You can:
- call our sales team on 020 3745 0203
- email sales@voiptech.solutions
- send us a message through our contact page
We'll talk through how you work today and recommend what fits. Not sure where to start? Book a free IT audit.
Yes. Call our sales team on 020 3745 0203 to talk through your phones, IT or connectivity with one of our specialists, at no cost. For a closer look at how your current systems are working, book a free IT audit.
Yes. We can take over your existing phone lines and keep your business numbers, and Wave can work over your existing phone system or replace it. If you're changing IT provider, our migration and onboarding service makes the switch straightforward. Tell us what you have today and we'll plan the move with you.
In East London. Our office is at 148 Cambridge Heath Rd, London E1 5QJ. Our cloud services work anywhere with an internet connection, and our engineers can help remotely or on site.
Contracts and billing
Prices, contracts, VAT and how you pay.
It depends on the service. Our plans start from:
- Wave: £9.99 per user per month
- Communicator: £23.99 per user per month
- IT support: £30 per workstation per month
Contact centre, cloud and connectivity projects are quoted around what you need, and you'll find current hosting plans and prices in our hosting portal. Call 020 3745 0203 for a quote.
No, unless we say otherwise. Under our terms, charges exclude VAT, which is added at the current rate.
Yes. Each service has a minimum term, set out in your service agreement before you sign, so you know exactly what you're committing to.
Yes. Call our sales team on 020 3745 0203 and we'll show you how Wave or Communicator would work for your business.
Only if they're in your quote. Any one-off charges, such as new line connections or hardware, are set out before you sign, so there are no surprises on your first bill.
Monthly, usually by Direct Debit. Your invoice arrives by email as a PDF, and line rental and data connections are paid in advance.
Yes. Wave and Communicator are priced per user, so you can add people as you take them on. Wave also lets you change users and settings yourself in its control panel.
Support and your account
Getting help, reaching us and logging in.
Call our support team on 020 3745 0201 or email support@voiptech.solutions, and tell us which service you need help with. If we manage your IT, our help desk logs every request and keeps you up to date at every step.
By phone during business hours, and by email at any time. Call us on 020 3745 0202 or email support@voiptech.solutions.
Choose Log in at the top of any page, then pick your portal: Wave for your cloud phone system, Communicator for unified communications, or Hosting for web hosting and domains.
Security and data
How we protect your calls, systems and data.
Security is built into how we work:
- every call and all data sent over Wave is encrypted, and you reach the system over secure connections
- we take a strict approach to encryption, access control and endpoint security
- a centralised firewall can protect the networks we install
- full system backup helps protect you against data loss and downtime
Yes. Communicator includes roles and permissions, so you decide what each person can see and do, and Wave supports single sign-on. We also take a strict approach to access control across our services.
In the cloud. Our phone and collaboration services are cloud-hosted, and you reach them over secure connections. If you need details for a particular service, ask our team.
Yes. Start with a free IT audit, which checks the security of your systems and looks for problems before they affect your business. We can then protect your network with a centralised firewall, keep your data backed up and manage your IT day to day.
Our privacy policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it and your rights over it. If you have a question about your data, email privacy@voiptech.solutions.
Phone systems
Cloud phone systems, unified communications and a cloud contact centre.
Business phone systems
View productIt's a phone system that makes and takes calls over your internet connection instead of a traditional phone line. You'll also hear it called VoIP (voice over internet protocol). It's hosted for you, so there's no phone system equipment to look after in your office, and your team can use it on computers, mobiles or desk phones, wherever they are.
Communicator is Wave plus the tools to work together. Choose Wave if calls are what you need, or Communicator if your team also wants to meet, message and share files in one app.
Wave has everything you need to handle calls well, including IVR menus, call queuing and routing, call recording, call forwarding and transfer, music on hold, voicemail to email, audio conferencing, HD voice, and call logs with analytics and reporting.
Communicator includes everything in Wave, plus chat, video calling, screen sharing and whiteboards, file sharing, CRM and Microsoft integration, call monitoring, whisper and barge, internet fax and a developer platform.
Wave starts at £9.99 per user per month and Communicator at £23.99, so you only pay for the people who need a line. You can add a call plan and extra numbers to suit how your business uses the phone.
It depends on your call plan. You can choose unlimited UK landline and mobile calls, pay per minute, or have a custom call plan built around how much your team calls.
Yes. We can take over your existing lines and keep your current business numbers, so customers still reach you on the numbers they know. Moving a number between providers is called porting, and we'll confirm any porting charges and timings before we start.
Local, non-geographic, freephone and international numbers. A local number shows customers you're nearby, a freephone number is free for them to call, and you can add extra numbers whenever you need them, for example for a new office or a campaign.
See how each type works on our business phone numbers page.
Yes. The app lets your team make and take business calls on mobiles, tablets and computers, anywhere in the world, using your business number. One connection covers all your devices, including supported desk phones, so calls reach you wherever you are.
Not necessarily. Your team can use the app on computers and mobiles instead of desk phones. If you'd like handsets on desks, Wave works plug and play with select, supported phones. Ask our team which ones suit you.
Wave can be up and running within 24 hours. Our specialist team sets it up and supports you, and Wave can be installed from scratch or work over your existing business phone system.
Yes. Connect every office, site and home worker to one cloud phone system, on any of their devices. Calls can be transferred between locations, and IVR, call queuing and routing send each caller to the right team, wherever that team is.
Wave's virtual receptionist greets them with a menu, such as "press 1 for sales", and sends them to the right team. This menu is called IVR (interactive voice response). Call queuing holds callers with music on hold until someone is free, call forwarding can send calls to another number, and voicemail to email means messages reach you wherever you are.
Yes. Call recording is included, along with call logs, analytics and reporting, so you can review conversations for training and quality.
Your calls don't have to stop. Cloud phones need power and an internet connection, but:
- the app keeps working on mobiles over mobile data
- call forwarding can send calls to mobiles or another site
- voicemail to email makes sure messages still reach you
For extra resilience, a backup internet connection and backup power keep desk phones running. Our connectivity team can advise.
Yes. You can call 999 or 112 from your business phone system. Because cloud phones work over the internet, keep the address linked to each number up to date so emergency services can find you, and keep a mobile phone to hand in case of a power cut or internet outage.
A fast, stable one. Cloud calls run over your internet connection, so call quality depends on its speed, its stability and how busy your network is. We can check your network before you switch, as part of a free IT audit, and recommend changes if they're needed.
Yes. The Wave control panel lets you change settings, users and call handling yourself, in seconds and with no technical knowledge needed. If you'd rather have a hand, call our support team on 020 3745 0201.
Unified communications
View productIt's one app for calls, chat, video meetings, screen sharing and files, instead of a separate tool for each. Unified communications (UC) lets your team work together in real time from the office, from home or on the move, on any device. Communicator is our unified communications system.
Everything they need to talk and work together:
- Make and take calls on your business number
- Chat and send instant messages
- Host video meetings and conferences, with screen sharing and whiteboards
- Share files and documents
- Search the company directory and manage voicemail from any device
- Bring external phone numbers into calls and video meetings
It also includes everything in Wave, our cloud phone system.
Yes. There's a desktop app for all major desktop platforms and an easy-to-use mobile app, so your team uses one system for every line they need. Take calls, join meetings and pick up voicemail wherever you are.
Yes. CRM integration and Microsoft integration are built in, and the developer platform lets you connect your other business apps, so you can manage everything from one smart interface. Tell us which CRM you use and we'll talk you through the options.
It depends on how your team uses Teams today. If you already work in Microsoft Teams for chat, meetings and files, talk to us and we'll look at how it fits with your business calls.
Yes. You can bring external phone numbers into Communicator calls and video meetings, so clients, suppliers and partners can join from their own phones.
Communicator gives team leaders call monitoring, call whisper and call barge. Monitoring lets you listen in to support your team, whisper lets you coach someone during a call without the caller hearing, and barge lets you join a call when you're needed. Roles and permissions control who can do what, and analytics and reporting show how calls are going.
Yes. Communicator was designed for SMEs and start-ups. It has a simple, consistent interface that needs no technical knowledge, and it scales quickly as your business grows.
Yes. Communicator's multi-lingual interface is designed for global teams, and because it runs in the cloud, colleagues can connect from any country with an internet connection.
We take a strict approach to encryption, access control and endpoint security across all our services. In Communicator, roles and permissions also let you decide what each person can see and do.
Communicator starts at £23.99 per user per month and includes everything in Wave. Already on Wave? You can upgrade to Communicator when your team needs more.
Contact centre
View productIt's a contact centre that runs entirely in the cloud. Your agents get everything they need to talk to customers by phone, web chat, email and SMS in one workspace. There's no contact centre equipment to install, agents can work from anywhere, and you can add capacity as you grow.
Voice, web chat, email and SMS, all from one workspace, so customers get a joined-up experience whichever channel they choose. Self-service tools let you adjust each campaign yourself as your needs change.
- Predictive diallers call several numbers at once and connect each answered call to the next free agent, so agents spend more time talking and less time waiting.
- Progressive diallers call the next number as soon as an agent is free, one call at a time, so every answered call has an agent ready.
- Preview diallers show the agent the customer's details before the call, so they can prepare. The agent starts the call when they're ready.
All three help outbound teams improve contact rates and productivity, and reduce customer wait times.
Yes. The contact centre runs in the cloud, so skilled agents can work from the office or from home with the same tools. The platform is secure, scalable and flexible, which makes home-based agents a cost-effective way to grow your team.
Yes. Wallboards, a real-time results manager and simple reporting tools give you live performance information, so you can manage queues and campaigns as they happen.
Yes. Send messages, notifications and alerts to customers instantly by SMS, as part of your campaigns or on their own.
Any team that talks to customers in volume, including customer service, sales and marketing, and collections. Sales and marketing teams can reach more prospects and convert more of them in less time by adding automation, and collections teams can reach more people at a lower cost.
Yes. The platform offers advanced integration capabilities. Tell us which systems you use, such as your CRM, and we'll talk you through the options.
Implementation is done in days. Our team can also help you move your existing contact centre to the cloud, quickly and easily.
It depends on your agents, channels and campaigns, so every contact centre is quoted to fit. Tell us about your team and we'll put a quote together.
Yes. Scalable voice capacity means you can add agents and lines as demand grows, for example for seasonal peaks or a new campaign.
Business phone numbers
View productYou can choose a local number for your area, a freephone number your customers can call for free, a non-geographic number that isn't tied to one place, or an international number for customers abroad.
Yes. We can take over your existing lines and keep your numbers, so your customers can still reach you on the numbers they know. Wave can even work over your existing phone system.
Yes. Add extra numbers whenever you need them, for a new office, team or campaign. Extra numbers cost £2 each.
Yes. Wave works on a smartphone, a computer and a traditional desk phone, so your business number rings wherever you are.
Yes. Calls between extensions on your phone system are free, and so are incoming calls.
Wave includes caller ID and a line display name, so customers see your business number and name when you call.
Yes. A virtual receptionist greets every caller and sends them to the right person or team, with call queuing for busy times.
Wave can be up and running within 24 hours. Talk to our team about the numbers you'd like and we'll get you started.
Wave is £9.99 per user per month and Communicator £23.99, and extra numbers are £2 each. See phone system pricing, or talk to our team about the numbers you need.
Virtual receptionist
View productA virtual receptionist answers your business calls automatically. It greets every caller, offers them a menu and sends them to the right person or team, so no call goes unanswered, even when everyone is busy.
IVR (interactive voice response) is the menu callers hear when they ring, such as "press 1 for sales, 2 for support". It's built into every Wave plan, along with call queuing and routing.
Yes. Each menu option can send the caller to a different person or team, and calls can be transferred if they need someone else.
Time-of-day routing sends calls to your team during opening hours and to a message after hours. Callers can leave a voicemail, and voicemail to email delivers it to your inbox.
Yes. Call queuing holds callers in a queue with music on hold until someone is free to answer.
Yes. IVR, virtual receptionist, call queuing and routing, time-of-day routing, music on hold and voicemail to email are all part of Wave, from £9.99 per user per month. See phone system pricing.
No. Wave works on smartphones, computers and traditional desk phones, and it can even work over your existing phone system.
Yes. Call recording is included with Wave, along with call logs and reporting, so you can see how your calls went.

Connectivity
View productIt depends on what's available at your address. We provide high-speed, resilient business connectivity, plus the network inside your office or sites. We check what can be supplied at each site first, then recommend the right connection for it.
It depends on the type of connection and what's available at your address. Speeds are affected by things like your distance from the exchange, so we check what's possible at your site before you order.
Yes. A managed wide area network (WAN) links your offices and locations on one centralised network, so every site gets the same services and protection. For a social housing provider, we installed a managed WAN delivering services to 22 sites.
Yes. We install and manage your office network (LAN), including high-speed Wi-Fi, so your team has a strong connection wherever they sit. At a family law chambers, we installed a managed LAN with high-speed Wi-Fi, alongside resilient connectivity for 80 barristers.
With a centralised firewall. We build your network around it, so it protects the traffic in and out of your business. For a social housing provider, we installed a centralised network secured by a high-capacity 40Gbps firewall.
Yes. We manage your network for you and keep an eye on it once it's live, so your phones, cloud services and people stay connected. If something isn't right, call our support team on 020 3745 0201.
We'll check it for you. Cloud calls need a reliable connection, so we make sure your network has the capacity for clear calls, and recommend changes if they're needed. With your connection and phones from one provider, one team looks after both.
We check that the service can be supplied at your address, then agree an installation appointment with you. Any connection charges are set out up front.
Co-managed IT support
View productCo-managed IT support adds our team to yours. Your in-house IT people stay in charge of your systems, and we take on the requests and jobs you'd rather hand over, with every request tracked so both teams know where things stand.

Cloud computing
Cloud migration and a managed cloud, with full system backup.
Cloud computing
View productInstead of running your systems on servers and equipment in your office, they run in the cloud and your team reaches them over the internet. Your people can work from anywhere, there's less hardware to look after, and it's easier to grow.
Yes. We start by getting to know the systems you run today, then plan the move around them and manage your cloud once it's live. Talk to us about your set-up and we'll plan the move with you.
We look after your cloud for you and keep an eye on it after it goes live. You don't need to bring in outside IT teams when a technical issue comes up, and you have one team to call.
We plan every move to keep disruption to a minimum, with your future growth in mind. We get to know your current set-up first, then plan the migration around how your business works.
Juggling legacy systems, several clouds and multiple vendors adds cost and complexity, and when something goes wrong it isn't always clear who should fix it. With one cloud managed by one provider, one team is responsible for all of it.
Your systems run on a robust and secure platform, with full system backup to help protect against data loss and downtime, and we take a strict approach to encryption and access control.
Yes. A barristers' chambers wanted everything in a managed cloud environment so it wouldn't need outside IT teams, and a social housing provider wanted to replace disparate systems and vendors with a single cloud. Both now have one cloud and one vendor in place of multiple legacy systems. Read the case studies.
Yes. Our cloud phone systems, Wave and Communicator, bring your calls into the cloud, and Wave can even work over your existing phone system. Our cloud contact centre does the same for customer service teams.
Cloud migration
View productCloud migration is moving your systems and data from servers and equipment in your office into the cloud, so your team reaches them over the internet, from anywhere.
We move your communications and wider IT: your files and data, your business systems and your phones. If you're juggling several clouds and suppliers, we can bring them together in one managed cloud.
We plan every move to keep disruption to a minimum. We get to know your current set-up first, then plan the migration around how your business works.
Every business runs different systems, so we plan the timing with you once we've looked at what you run today. A free IT audit is a good place to start.
Yes. Full system backup is part of our service, to help protect your business against data loss and downtime, and we take a strict approach to encryption and access control.
We look after your cloud for you and keep an eye on it once it's live, so you don't need outside IT teams when a technical issue comes up, and you have one team to call.
Yes. Our cloud phone systems, Wave and Communicator, bring your calls into the cloud, and we can keep the numbers you have.
Yes. A barristers' chambers and a social housing provider both moved to one cloud and one vendor in place of multiple legacy systems. Read the case studies.

Yes. Every plan includes mailboxes for your domain, such as you@yourbusiness.co.uk: 5 with Basic, 50 with Plus and unlimited with Premium.
Domain names
View productYour domain name is your address online, like yourbusiness.co.uk. Customers type it to visit your website, and you can use it for your team's email addresses too.
Search for the name you want at the top of this page. If it's free, add it to your order, add a hosting plan if you'd like your website and email with us, and check out. New domains use our nameservers, so they're ready for hosting on our network.
It depends on the extension. A .co.uk or .uk is £5.77 for the first year and a .com is £7.47. You'll see the price of every extension when you search.
If your customers are mainly in the UK, a .co.uk or .uk tells them you're a British business. A .com suits businesses that work internationally. Many businesses register both, so no one else can take them.
Yes. Enter your domain in the transfer box, then add the authorisation code from your current provider at checkout. Transferring adds a year to the registration of most domains.
For most domains, unlock the domain at your current provider and ask them for its authorisation code (also called an EPP code). For .uk and .co.uk domains, your current provider changes the domain's IPS tag instead, and our team will tell you which tag to use.
Transfers of .com and other international domains usually take five to seven days, because your current provider has time to release the domain. A .uk or .co.uk domain moves once your current provider changes its IPS tag.
Yes. Enter your own nameservers when you order, and your domain will point at your existing host.
Email comes with our hosting plans. Basic includes 5 mailboxes, Plus 50 and Premium unlimited, all at your own domain, with forwarders and autoresponders. See the hosting plans.
Every hosting plan includes a free SSL certificate, so your website loads over HTTPS with the padlock in the browser bar.
Yes. Every hosting plan includes unlimited parked domains, so your .com, .co.uk and .uk can all lead to the same website.

With VoIPTech, that's cPanel hosting with a free SSL certificate, daily backups, DDoS protection and your choice of shop platform in one click.
You can install PrestaShop or Magento in one click from cPanel, or install WordPress in one click and add WooCommerce, the free shop plugin for WordPress. Over 100 apps install in one click, so you can choose what suits your shop.
WooCommerce is a free plugin that turns a WordPress website into an online shop, with products, a basket, a checkout and order management. Install WordPress in one click on any of our plans, then add WooCommerce from your WordPress dashboard.
Yes. WooCommerce and PrestaShop let you sell physical goods, digital downloads and services, with options like size and colour and stock that updates as you sell.
Yes. Every plan includes a free SSL certificate, so every page of your shop, including the checkout, loads over HTTPS with the padlock in the browser bar.
WooCommerce and PrestaShop work with a wide range of payment providers, so you can choose the one that suits your business and take card payments at your checkout. Every page of your shop is secured with a free SSL certificate.
Yes. Your files and databases are backed up every day, and that's where your products and orders are kept. You can restore a backup from cPanel.
Your bandwidth is unmetered, so more visitors won't cost you more, and DDoS protection filters out floods of fake traffic so real customers can still get through. Plus and Premium give you 4 or 6 CPU cores for busier shops.
Basic suits a small shop, with 20 GB of storage and 2 CPU cores. Plus gives you 50 GB and 4 CPU cores, and Premium 150 GB and 6 CPU cores for a bigger catalogue or busier shop. Compare the plans.

Business email
View productBusiness email is email at your own domain, like hello@yourbusiness.co.uk, instead of an address at a free provider. It shows customers they're dealing with a real business, and every mailbox belongs to your business.
It depends on your plan: Basic includes 5 mailboxes, Plus 50 and Premium unlimited. Every plan also includes unlimited forwarders, so you can add addresses like sales@ that deliver to an existing mailbox.
No. Your hosting plan gives you email at your domain whether or not you build a website, and you can add a website whenever you're ready.
Yes. Use the domain you have, transfer it to us so everything sits in one place, or register a new one.
A forwarder sends mail for one address on to another. For example, mail to sales@ can go straight to the people in your sales team. Every plan includes unlimited forwarders.
Yes. Autoresponders send an automatic reply, so customers know when you'll be back. Every plan includes unlimited autoresponders.
Yes. Mailing lists let you reach everyone on a list with one message, and every plan includes unlimited mailing lists.
Everything is managed from cPanel, the control panel that comes with every plan: create and remove mailboxes, set up forwarders and replies, and manage your mailing lists. Our team is here if you need a hand.
Yes. Every hosting plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
